…we must all remember, that we stand too close to the
beginnings of the System ordained by Bahá'u'lláh to be able fully to understand
its potentialities or the interrelationships of its component parts. As Shoghi
Effendi's secretary wrote on his behalf to an individual believer on 25 March
1930, "The contents of the Will of the Master are far too much for the
present generation to comprehend. It needs at least a century of actual working
before the treasures of wisdom hidden in it can be revealed.
